Ivory bridal gown by George F. Couture (George Fakhir Inc., New York), c. late 1980s–early 1990s — as featured in Vogue on thrifting your wedding outfit, styled for a NYC courthouse wedding. A New York label known for elaborate occasion and bridal work; the radiating pleated bodice draws from Fortuny's Delphos technique.

Condition details: In good, gently used vintage condition consistent with its age and use. Small brownish spotting and marks on multiple satin appliqué patches — the primary condition issue (see photos 10, 12, 14 and condition detail photos). Slight fraying or thread separation at some appliqué edges (photos 11, 12). Bodice pleating, corsage, and pearl chains appear clean and intact.
