A black seed bead evening bag, circa 1950s–1960s, with a gold-tone frame accented with mother-of-pearl.

Dense black seed bead ground across the bag body and bead-covered top handle
Raised floral embroidery in larger faceted black beads at the lower corners and along the hem
Gold-tone metal frame with twisted cord trim along the opening edge
Elongated rectangular mother-of-pearl inlay at frame center, flanked by two round MOP cabochon accents at each end
Spring-frame closure; frame opens when pulled back and springs firmly shut
Black satin lining, open main interior
