Issey Miyake pleated dress from the Spring/Summer 1994 collection.

Multicolor grid pattern executed in Miyake’s signature permanent pleating technique.
Long sleeves with an elongated, body-skimming silhouette. Fabric stretches and conforms to the body while maintaining structure.
Pull-on construction. Unlined.
Midi length.
Mock neck collar.
Produced during Miyake’s early pleats era, prior to later mass-market Pleats Please production.

The graphic pattern is engineered into the garment, rather than applied as a simple surface repeat - typical of Miyake’s most sought-after early 1990s work. Pieces from this period are increasingly scarce and widely collected.

Condition details:

In excellent, gently used condition consistent with its age and use. There are no detectable flaws.
