Early 2000’s Pleats Please Issey Miyake flower series dress developed with frequent artist collaborator Mimi Yokoo, produced during the brand’s early, pre–mass market era, now considered one of the most collectible periods of Pleats Please.

• Created during the studio’s artist-driven print development phase, when collaborations were conceptual rather than overtly branded and prints were designed in direct dialogue with textile structure and movement
• Engineered floral print designed specifically for pleating, not a simple surface repeat
• Silhouette is straight/boxy on the hanger but forms to the body when worn
• Sleeveless with with round, open neckline

Condition details:  Very good vintage condition. Minor raw-edge hem alteration from previous owner. Subtle textural variation at back neckline consistent with prior heat exposure. Gentle pleat relaxation and slight softening typical of age. The text on the care tag has faded with age so there is not a known marked size. Please see measurements below for size information.
