The iconic Hermès "Astrologie" print, also known as "Dies et Hors" or "Days and Hours", features an intricate astrology-inspired print with a central golden sun motif and zodiac signs. Originally designed by Francoise Faconnet in 1963, it was inspired by an astrological table from the Renaissance. It first rose to fame when Jackie O. wore it in the 1960s and has been known as one of the most desirable, best selling Hermes scarves of all time.
When Martin Margiela took charge of house between 1997-2003, he repurposed the print in a variety of designs which included many modern approached such as this long sleeve polo top. The front panel features the print in scarf-like silk while the back and sleeves are crafted from a soft, stretchy knit, offering a unique balance of sophistication and comfort.
Condition Details: In very good vintage condition consistent with its age and use. There is a small area of color bleeding where the silk meets the knit along the upper arm, however it does not affect the wearability of the item and is noticeable only on close inspection.
