Vintage Late 1960s Floral Chenille Tapestry Coat

Vintage Late 1960s Floral Chenille Tapestry Coat

Open-front coat by Rosenblum California Custom Tailored for Blackburn Brothers, Amarillo, circa late 1960s–early 1970s. Raised chenille pile tapestry on a cream ground with large-scale Jacobean floral motif in coral, terracotta, olive green, sky blue, and golden yellow.

  • Wide notched lapels
  • Full-length sleeves
  • Slit pockets at the hips
  • Cream lining
  • Former owner’s monogram tiles (OLW) at interior

Condition details: In very good, gently used condition consistent with its age and use. Light scattered discoloration and minor variation in the chenille pile are present throughout the exterior. These are largely masked by the dimensional texture and multicolored floral motif and are not immediately apparent during wear. The satin lining shows scattered faint staining and age-related discoloration, most noticeable around the lower portion of the coat. Structurally excellent and displays beautifully. Refer to photos for further condition details or contact for additional queries or photo/video requests.
