Yves Saint Laurent gold-tone scallop shell clip-on earrings. The shell design was very much part of Saint Laurent’s 1980s jewelry vocabulary, which often paired oversized scale and textured gold with bold, natural forms. Documented in YSL runway photography circa 1980s.
